By popular demand the Anglesey Hussars will be back again, setting up camp and performing in the arena with cavalry, infantry and canons.
Last year the St.Asaph Rotary Fayre attracted over 3,000 visitors from near and far who all enjoyed a fantastic special day out for all the family.
This year the Rotary Club are planning an even better day packed with entertainment and amusements.
By popular demand the Anglesey Hussars will be back again, setting up camp and performing in the arena with cavalry, infantry and canons. Horses, dogs, birds of prey will be giving special displays whilst for the children there will be fun and games in the arena organised by Martin Fearnley. As the tug of war, open to all both young and old, was thoroughly entertaining last year these fun contests must take place again. The successes of the enjoyable Punch & Judy and the fun dog competitions attracted large crowds and will be repeated this year.
In and around the arena over 30 entertainments are booked involving animals, skills, sports, vehicles and machinery and other performances and they are all free except for a few fair items.
Over 70 business and charity stalls are being lined up to provide interesting and fascinating wares, information and activities and this year there will be a chance to check your health with a free blood pressure test.
Make a note of the date of the fayre now-August 19th and enjoy a great day out for all the family
Last year the club made about £4,600 and the other charities on the field made an estimated £4,000. This enabled St.Asaph Rotary to support deserving projects in the community and around the world. Without your support for the fayre for these projects could not take place so we look forward to seeing you.
